The contents insurance is mandatory, while you can opt out of the travel insurance and legal insurance. In addition, you can purchase other insurance policies directly from LOfavør. This is the only contents insurance in Norway that has no upper coverage limit, which gives you extra security for your private belongings. The insurance covers:
The scheme was previously known as LOfavør Collective Home Insurance, and continues to be one of the most valuable member benefits in NTL. The insurance provides you and your household with complete security in everyday life.
NTL has LOfavør Travel Insurance as a collective member benefit. It applies to holiday, leisure, and business trips and has no requirements for overnight stays or air travel. Cancellation insurance is included. The accident insurance applies around the clock, even outside of travel. There is only a deductible for treatment expenses following accidental injuries. Most insurance sums are doubled compared to standard travel insurance.
You can opt out of the insurance if you do not want it. If you have opted out, you can order it again if you are gainfully employed or within one year after transitioning to pensioner membership. Students cannot have the travel insurance.
NTL has LOfavør Legal Insurance as a collective membership benefit, which also protects you in your private life. With this insurance, you get access to skilled lawyers at HELP. You pay no hourly rate, only the monthly insurance premium, and receive help until the case is resolved.
You can opt out of the insurance if you do not want it.
If you opt out, you cannot order it again through your membership.
