Contents insurance
All NTL members are covered by LOfavør Contents Insurance, which covers the contents of the home where the person is registered in the National Registry. If you live with someone who is an NTL member, the contents of your home are covered by this insurance.
If you are also a member of an LO union and covered by LOfavør Contents Insurance, a situation may arise where both parties pay a premium for this insurance. LOfavør has created a system that allows those in this situation to receive significantly reduced deductibles in the event of a claim, as compensation for the double insurance premium.
Travel insurance
LOfavør Travel Insurance is voluntary for NTL members, so you should first check if the person you live with has this insurance. The insurance applies to a spouse/cohabitant and children up to the age of 20, in addition to the member themselves. This applies regardless of whether you are traveling together or separately.
Funeral support
NTL previously had a funeral support scheme that co-financed funerals. This scheme no longer exists.
Notification of death
If you are a relative of an NTL member who has passed away, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.
