NTL has regional committees in several counties, including Troms and Finnmark, Nordland, Trøndelag, Vestland, Rogaland, Vestfold and Telemark, and Oslo. The committees function as regional joint bodies for NTL's members and are intended to strengthen cooperation between local associations and branches. They contribute to developing professional, organizational, and political work in the county and act as a link to the central union. The regional committees receive support for operations and for organizing courses and activities.

The regional branch's website
The regional committees shall:
- work for the purposes set out in NTL's principles and action program
- facilitate and conduct information and recruitment work
- provide training for organizational representatives and workplace representatives
- locally promote the union's policy and, if applicable, issue statements on behalf of the union
- perform tasks assigned by the union
- coordinate the election of representatives to LO's regional councils and regional conferences, and LO Stat's regional committees
- coordinate NTL's contact with local units of LO, LO Stat, and other local partners
- appoint a separate youth committee affiliated with the regional committee
